Light is an important part of interior design, as well as of any inhabited environment, as it refers to a fundamental sense- the sight. 

Lighting fixtures have an important role in creating a balanced environment, as they become part of a whole, by contributing to the aesthetic impact the design has on its users. These structures can be present in a space as a subtitle detail, that emphasizes other elements, or as the main visual piece.

The current project addresses the need of a new business, that provides vintage and industrial style lighting fixtures, to develop a more contemporary approach for its products, whilst keeping the vintage core.
As evolution is part of any business, the designs proposed aim to show a transition from the present situation to a more modern perspective. In order to keep the essence and the guide lines given by the clients, maritime elements have been the main inspiration.
